Here’s a weird one.
According to the Allentown Morning Call, seven members of the Lehigh University football team are facing various charges for breaking into a home while one allegedly assaulted a man in what police described as “retribution” for an alleged attack on a fraternity president.
There was one big problem, however. The players went to the wrong house.

Police on Wednesday charged six members of Lehigh University's football team with felony criminal trespass, saying they broke into an off-campus home in retribution for an alleged attack on a fraternity president.
Bethlehem police also said they picked the wrong house.
The two men in the house used a university football roster to help them identify those involved in the Nov. 8 intrusion on the 600 block of Pierce Street, police said.
Authorities said university students Samuel Hernandez and Collin Davis told police the men kicked in the doors to their rooms while they slept and Hernandez was punched several times in the face.
The charges levied to the six players Wednesday come after defensive back Brian Githens was charged in November with felony burglary, simple assault and criminal mischief. Police say Githens was the one who punched Hernandez in the face, giving him a “busted lip.”
According to The Express-Times, Hernandez also sustained a concussion.
According to the Morning Call, police say Githens “admitted he broke into the home in retribution for an assault of his fraternity president, but admitted he had gone to the wrong home and attacked the wrong person.”
On top of that, one of the other football players is accused of urinating in the victims’ refrigerator.
In addition to Githens and Parsons, the other players charged were linebacker Noah Robb, linebacker Jacob Scott, linebacker Mark D. Walker, defensive back Michael D. Gies and fullback Maxwell Frankel.
Police say Frankel, Robb, Gies, Scott and Githens admitted to breaking into the home. Walker and Parsons declined to speak to police. Per The Express-Times, Githens said in his interview with police that he was the only one to assault Hernandez while the others “stood by and yelled.”
Lehigh, which competes at the FCS level in the Patriot League, went 6-5 this season.
