Utah announced Wednesday that wide receivers coach Taylor Stubblefield would not return next season.
The release did not specify a reason for the departure.
Stubblefield had been with the Utes for two seasons and in that time, the Utes highest single-season receiving total was Kaelin Clay’s 523 yards in 2014. This year, Utah’s best receiver Britain Covey had 519 receiving yards.
Stubblefield, a former Purdue receiver, has had eight different jobs since 2007. He actually accepted the Eastern Michigan receiver job in 2014 before quitting a week later to go to Utah.
