One of the more memorable Penn State games in recent years was the Nittany Lions’ triple-overtime win over Michigan in 2013 at Beaver Stadium.
Wide receiver Allen Robinson, now with the Jacksonville Jaguars, made a highlight reel catch in the final minute of regulation to force overtime. Now Robinson has immortalized his catch in ink.
Check this out:
Robinson’s clutch catch set up the game-tying quarterback sneak by then-true freshman Christian Hackenberg to push the game into OT. Penn State then won in the third overtime on a Bill Belton touchdown run.
Robinson leaped over Michigan cornerback Channing Stribling to make the reception at the one-yard line. Stribling caught wind of Robinson’s new tattoo (which isn't quite finished) and didn’t seem too pleased.
The two went back-and-forth on Twitter, but Robinson, who caught 80 passes for 1,400 yards and 14 touchdowns for the Jaguars this season to earn a Pro Bowl nod, got the final shot in.
