Oregon State top LB Rommel Mageo transfers to Ole Miss

Oregon State linebacker Rommel Mageo has left the program and has transferred to Ole Miss.

The Rebels announced the move via Twitter.

Mageo had 87 tackles, two sacks, two interceptions, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery for the Beavers during his junior year last season. He’s coming to Ole Miss as a graduate transfer, which makes him eligible right away.

Mageo is the sixth player to transfer from the Beavers this offseason. Quarterback Seth Collins (Northern Illinois), quarterback Nick Mitchell (Division II's Dixie State), linebacker Malik Gilmore, defensive lineman Luke Hollingsworth and defensive back Chris Hayes all have left the program.
