Ole Miss starting quarterback Chad Kelly had surgery last week to repair a sports hernia. He will miss the final week of spring workouts.
However, the injury is not considered serious enough to keep him out for fall camp or even change his status as starter for the season opener against Florida State on Sept. 5.

The Rebels will have two quarterbacks heading into this final week of spring practices, which culminate in the spring game on Saturday.
Redshirt freshman Jason Pellerin and true freshman Shea Patterson have split second-team reps throughout spring football. Walk-on Drew Davis also is involved in the competition.
