Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher was involved in a traffic accident ahead of the Seminoles’ scrimmage on Saturday.
According to multiple reports, Fisher was approximately one mile from Doak Campbell Stadium when his Mercedes Benz S550 collided with another vehicle at an intersection around 7:30 a.m.
Fisher was not injured, but the driver and a passenger of the other vehicle were hospitalized.

Fisher did not report any injuries, but the other driver was taken to a hospital after complaining of shoulder, hip and back pain. One of two passengers in the other vehicle was taken to the hospital with complaints of neck, head and back pain.
Fisher's vehicle bounced off the other vehicle and hit a pole, according to the police report. Both vehicles sustained "disabling front end damage" and were towed from the scene of the accident.
According to a police report, both Fisher and the other driver believed they had a green light at the intersection, so no fault for the accident has been determined. Police also said wet road conditions may have been a factor in the accident.

Fisher was present for FSU’s scrimmage, which began at noon.
