Clemson will have an updated look in 2016.
The school announced Tuesday that, in collaboration with Nike, it has made some changes to its uniforms. The changes “draw inspiration” from the team’s national title run in 1981.

Among the changes are a purple Nike Swoosh logo and a new tiger paw patch on the pants, tiger paws on top of the shoulders, larger numbers and an enlarged nameplate.
In a nod to the Purple Heart, the Tigers will also continue to wear purple jerseys for Military Appreciation Day.

From Tiger Illustrated:
Swinney's pay goes up from $3.3 million (under the terms of the contract he signed after the 2013 season) to $4.55 million, with a sweet little signing bonus of $275,000. Two years from now he'll be over $5 million, and the final year of the deal (2021) will cap him out at $5.65 million. Included are retention bonuses of $600,000 if he's here after Jan. 1, 2019, and $400,000 if he's here after Jan. 1, 2021.
“I’m excited and thankful for the opportunity to do what I love at such a great institution,” Swinney said in a release. “We’ve built a solid foundation of success and will continue to work toward our goals of preparing young men for their future and being successful in everything we do.”
Added Clemson athletic director Dan Radakovich: “This new contract was important for us not only for what Dabo has accomplished in his eight seasons here but for what we know the program will continue to achieve – both on and off the field – for the foreseeable future.”
