A former college football player was shot in this weekend’s tragedy in Orlando. Rodney Sumter Jr., who played wide receiver for Jacksonville University from 2008 to 2010, was shot in his back and both arms. He had surgery on Monday morning and remains hospitalized.

Tate Martell, the top-rated dual-threat quarterback in the country, committed to Ohio State. Martell, a 2017 recruit from Las Vegas, was previously committed to Texas A&M.
