Tennessee had quite a day on the recruiting trail on Saturday.

The Vols landed eight – yes, eight – verbal commitments that day. Seven of those prospects are in the 2017 class and the other is from the class of 2018. Of the eight commits, four are from the state of Tennessee. LaTrell Bumphus, a four-star defensive end from Savannah, Tenn., is the highest-rated of the bunch.
