Auburn running back Jovon Robinson was dismissed after two alleged incidents.
According to Al.com, one of the incidents involved a teammate. The other involved a female.
The first incident involved Marshall Taylor, a defensive back. The two were at a party when a confrontation occurred. Per the the paper’s sources, Taylor was the victim of the confrontation and Robinson believes he is being blamed.
A separate and more recent incident involving Robinson and a young woman was what led Malzahn to dismiss Auburn’s starting running back and best offensive skill player, according to multiple sources.
The details are unclear, but multiple sources said there was a disagreement between Robinson and the woman, who he eventually led out of the room.

Robinson has previously said he feels that he’s been stereotyped and disrespected regarding the dismissal and has criticized the coaching staff. Auburn dismissed wide receiver Duke Williams after he was involved in a dispute with a teammate in October. Williams allegedly punched four people, including teammate Xavier Dampeer at a bar to lead to his dismissal.
Robinson is not currently facing any charges regarding any allegations, per the report.
He was Auburn’s leading rusher over the second half of the season, topping the 100-yard mark twice and becoming the MVP of the Birmingham Bowl. He had 639 yards on 117 carries in 2015.
