Georgia State will host Texas-San Antonio in its first Saturday night game as it begins its first year or provisional status en route to joining the Sun Belt in 2013 and being eligible for the postseason in 2014.
Previously, the Panthers had only played on Thursday and Friday nights.
So to commemorate the moment, the university is offering fans who come out to the Georgia Dome free food, glow-in-the-dark T-shirts and amazing blue light-up shutter shades.
And if that wasn't enough, the university has treated you to a video of legendary coach Bill Curry singing Corey Hart's 80's hit "Sunglasses at Night" while sporting said blue light-up shutter shades. He's only in the video a few times, but it's fantastic.
And UTSA better watch out because no one switches the blade with the guy in shades, oh, no.
