While anthem protests have been happening since San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick first took a knee in August, the protests have become a bigger topic in college football over the past two weeks as people and companies have reacted to protests at Nebraska and East Carolina. We talk about those reactions and suggest an alternative way the North Carolina radio station could protest the ECU band members’ protest.
There’s a lot of football talk too. We take a look at the frontrunners for Heisman as we enter October as well as muse about some oddities in the AP top 25.
