Michigan wasn’t going to put up with Iowa’s pink visiting locker room.
Before Saturday’s game at Kinnick Stadium, the Wolverines’ locker room staff put up Michigan propaganda all over the walls. This is what it looks like.

Iowa’s locker room was first painted pink under coach Hayden Fry, who felt that color could help the Hawkeyes gain a psychological edge over their opponents. The tradition has continued since Fry’s departure and even through renovations to the facilities at Kinnick.

Iowa might have needed more than a psychological edge for a chance to beat Michigan Saturday night, however. The Wolverines are 21-point favorites. But coach Jim Harbaugh clearly wasn’t taking any chances.
