A day after putting up career highs in catches and receiving yards, Baylor’s KD Cannon made a big announcement.
The junior receiver revealed on Twitter he will forgo his senior season of college football and declare for the NFL draft.

The 6-foot, 180-pound Cannon caught 14 passes for 226 yards and two touchdowns in Baylor’s 31-12 Cactus Bowl win over Boise State on Tuesday night in Phoenix. His big night put the bow on a career season. Cannon finished the year with 87 catches for 1,215 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Overall for his career, Cannon totaled 195 catches for 3,113 yards and 27 scores. He was No. 34 overall prospect in the country when he signed with Baylor in the 2014 class.
