Some big names from the SEC are heading to the NFL.

According to multiple reports, Tennessee running back Alvin Kamara is declaring for the 2017 NFL draft. Per Rivals, wide receiver Josh Malone is also “expected” to

Kamara was Tennessee’s third-leading rusher in 2016. He had 103 carries for 596 yards and was second on the team with nine touchdowns. His departure for the NFL means Tennessee won’t return three of its four leading rushers for 2017. Quarterback Josh Dobbs was a senior in 2016 and running back Jalen Hurd — fourth on the team in rushing — announced his decision to transfer and switch positions earlier in the year.

Running back John Kelly, a sophomore in 2016, had 98 carries for 630 yards.

Malone was the team’s leading receiver in 2016. He had 50 catches for 972 yards and also led the team with 11 touchdowns.

– LSU DT Davon Godchaux will be joining them in the NFL according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Godchaux had 62 tackles in 12 games this season including 8.5 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks. A junior in 2016, Godchaux has started every LSU game since the fourth game of his freshman year.

– Kentucky running back Boom Williams said after his team’s TaxSlayer Bowl loss to Georgia Tech that he’d be heading to the NFL. Williams had 171 carries for 1,170 yards this season; an average of nearly seven yards a carry.

– Georgia wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie is heading to the NFL too. He said after the team’s Liberty Bowl win over TCU that he was going to the NFL a year early.

“Just personal issues, back home, things like that. I have a grandmother … I just felt like it was the right decision for me to make,” McKenzie said via UGASports.com. “I don’t know what the outcome is going to be, but I’m going to do it.”

McKenzie was Georgia’s most explosive offensive weapon in 2016. He was the team’s leading receiver and had seven receiving touchdowns. He also had a punt return for a score plus two rushing touchdowns.

– Outside of the SEC, Virginia Tech tight end Bucky Hodges is going pro too.

Thank you !!
