Alabama offensive lineman Lester Cotton was reportedly arrested Friday after being pulled over with marijuana in his car.
Citing Tuscaloosa (Ala.) police, Fox6News in Birmingham reported that Cotton was charged for possession of marijuana II and possession of drug paraphernalia after his Chevy Tahoe was stopped by officers at 11 p.m. Friday.

Cotton was charged for Poss of Marijuana II and Poss of Drug Paraphernalia, processed and released on bond.

Cotton started five games in 2016 for the Crimson Tide — two at left guard and three at right guard. The 6-foot-4, 319-pound rising junior was Rivals’ No. 46 player nationally when coming out of Tuscaloosa Central High in 2015.

The officer “smelled the odor of marijuana emitting from inside the vehicle,” according to the television station, and a quantity of marijuana and drug paraphernalia were recovered during a search of the vehicle.
Cotton was released on bond.
