Arkansas coach Bret Bielema was invested in the Razorbacks’ SEC Tournament basketball game vs. Kentucky on Sunday.
The Hogs played the Wildcats for the Tournament title and the SEC’s automatic bid into the NCAA tournament. Kentucky won 82-65 after pulling away late in the second half. The 17-point margin got an assist from a flagrant foul by Arkansas’ Dusty Hannahs while setting a pick and a flagrant foul and technical foul combo 18 seconds later by the Razorbacks’ Moses Kingsley.
Bielema didn’t appear to be too happy with the way the final seconds of the game played out. We’ll let you draw your own conclusions about what Bielema was attempting to say.
#WoooPig also love the smiles and hugs the officials give Kentucky players when talking to them about the game and ending https://t.co/yQpvWEpUjp

While the loss certainly stings for Arkansas, it’s also one that’s fairly inconsequential. Arkansas was in the NCAA Tournament entering the game and it was no guarantee a win would have largely affected the Razorbacks’ seed. And while we understand Bielema’s frustration with the outcome, we also know it’s not a good thing to even indirectly and unintentionally open an officiating conspiracy door.
