In case you somehow forgot over the offseason, Lamar Jackson is extremely good.

The reigning Heisman Trophy winner made plays all over the field — with his arm and legs — in Louisville’s 47-35 road win over North Carolina on Saturday afternoon.

Jackson threw for 393 yards and three touchdowns while also running for 132 yards and three more scores. Three of those scoring plays stood out.

In the first half, Louisville ran a play-action deep ball but a blitzing UNC defender had a free shot at Jackson. It didn’t matter. Jackson effortlessly side-stepped the approaching Tar Heel and fired a beautiful pass to Jaylen Smith behind the defense for a 75-yard score.

Early in the second half, Jackson made an awesome play on the ground. After faking a handoff to the running back, Jackson exploded right up the middle and used his speed to get past the secondary and into the end zone for a 43-yard touchdown.

From a different angle, it’s easier to appreciate how quickly Jackson got through the line.

That’s not a big hole at all, yet Jackson has the coordination to effortlessly glide through the defenders and into the second level before turning on the jets to cap off the run.

And in the fourth quarter Jackson finally put the game out of reach with yet another ridiculous touchdown run on a third-and-seven play from the UNC 11. Watch this:

Yeah, that guy is good.

That touchdown, which capped off a six-play, 99-yard drive, was the final one of the day for Louisville, which finished the afternoon with a whopping 705 yards. Louisville improved to 2-0 with the win with Clemson coming to town next weekend. North Carolina dropped to 0-2 heading into a road game with Old Dominion.
