Oregon State quarterback Jake Luton says he’ll be forever grateful towards a mother and boy who came to see him at the hospital after his injury vs. Washington State.

Luton suffered a thoracic spine fracture vs. the Cougars in Week 3. He was taken to the hospital after the injury and said the mother told him her son wanted to make sure to see Luton at the hospital and deliver him a cupcake.

If you don’t feel a wave of feel-good emotions coming over you when reading Luton’s post, you may be a robot.

Luton was discharged from the hospital Saturday night after the game. Coach Gary Andersen said he’s “week-to-week” with the injury and Darrel Garretson will start for the team in Week 4.
