The early set of games in college football has produced a lot of exciting finishes, including one great game-winning grab in Virginia.
With 6 seconds left, tight end Jake McGee made a tremendous jumping, stretching catch at the back of the end zone, getting in bounds to beat the Hurricanes 41-40. The ball was put where only McGee could get it, and he made a fantastic catch for the win.
The play was not only a highlight of the day, and a highlight of Virginia's season, it's a potentially huge blow for Miami. The Hurricanes were 4-2 in the Coastal Division, and led 3-2 North Carolina by a half game. Miami's heartbreaking loss, and North Carolina's loss, leaves that spot in the ACC Championship Game up for grabs.
