Bret Bielema might be the new coach on the SEC block, but he’s not going to take any guff from bullying fans.
Bielema, the former Wisconsin coach who took the Arkansas head job last month, maintains his own Twitter account and responds to almost every tweet, including the ones from the haters (see Bielema’s comments at the end of the tweet).
“@brettgaydos: @bretbielema cant win big ten games but you think you can ompete in the SEC??? Yea right”Check stats, and go back to sleep.

“@rcorn: @bretbielema Go Badgers, you're a trader.”Hope as a father of 4 you begin to think before you tweet stupid things. #GoHogs #1-0

“@southendzone9: Cant wait till the fall and see Bama kick the crap out of @bretbielema andArkansas Why hate. Life is too short. 1-0.

Bielema, who coached Wisconsin for seven seasons and led the team to three consecutive Rose Bowls, didn’t endear himself to Wisconsin fans when they learned that he had been flirting with Arkansas since last September. So, the hatred from Wisconsin fans is understandable.
However, answering every nasty tweet is going to get tiresome and eventually Bielema will have to concentrate on actually coaching in the SEC. Still, for now, it’s interesting to watch how brazen fans can get when they know the coach – and not one of his office lackeys – is actually monitoring the Twitter feed.
