The Jadeveon Clowney hit on Michigan running back Vincent Smith during the Outback Bowl was one of the most exciting hits of the year and probably one of the best hits we’ve seen all season.
That’s why people in South Carolina can’t stop mentioning it.
And Uncle Louie’s, a bar in South Carolina took it a step further.
It took out an ad in the Free-Times, a weekly newspaper, looking for Smith’s helmet.
Here’s the text of the ad:
“MISSING: Vincent Smith’s Michigan Helmet. Last seen: Tampa, FL 1/1/13.”
The phone number listed on the ad is to Michigan Stadium (of course) so you can give the university the whereabouts of the helmet.
Poor Vincent Smith, he’s never going to live this hit while Clowney’s legend continues to grow.
I have to say, this is hilarious and by far the most creative use of an ad we’ve seen in some time.
