If you like nostalgic old college football videos (check) and enjoy the Army-Navy rivalry at all (check), there was quite a find posted to YouTube this week.

The user shakeyourreptile posted a color video from the Army-Navy game in 1939, which is two years before the United States entered World War II. That's a pretty amazing piece of history.

The video, which was linked on the college football Subreddit page, isn't of the best quality, especially for the scenes shot from the game. But, the video was made more than 73 years ago. The quality is incredible considering it came from that era. And we especially enjoy the celebration scenes after the game. College football hasn't changed that much over the years, after all.

Navy won the game, played at Philadelphia Municipal Stadium on Dec. 2, 1939, by a score of 10-0. That started a five-game winning streak for Navy in the historic series.

If you have an appreciation for the history of college football, it's worth a few minutes of your time to watch.
