Last April, about 3,100 fans showed up to Ohio State’s Student Appreciation Day and were allowed on the field during a Drew Basil field goal, which produced one of the coolest pictures from last spring.
Well, the Buckeyes are at it again.
Ohio State is inviting fans to come out and join the team on the field again on Saturday. Meyer even says a surprise field goal kicker will come from the student body.
Unfortunately, defensive line coach Mike Vrabel already ruined that surprise by sending out a call on Twitter for female kickers.
Students: We are looking for a female to kick a FG at practice this Sat! Send your contact info to OSUStudentDay@gmail.com #NotAprilFools

Still, this is one of the more unique events of the spring and a good opportunity to bridge the gap between the players and coaches and the fans.
Plus, it makes for some pretty cool photos and some great pressure situations for kickers.
