Maryland did a good job of using freshman Stefon Diggs to help on the field, now their using him off the field as well.
Earlier this week, Maryland debuted it’s commercial for "1-Hour Terrapin Energy," starring Diggs. The commercial is a spoof on the 5-Hour Energy commercials that show one man doing a litany of things in an hour simply because he drank a 5-hour Energy drink.
In Maryland’s spoof, which we found pretty dang funny, Diggs, does everything from catching a football with one hand, to racing a hare (you know, like the tortoise and the hare), to fixing athletic director Kevin Anderson’s car (while recording his debut album).
It’s worth a watch.
Last season, Diggs had 848 receiving yards and six touchdowns and 934 total return yards with two kickoff return touchdowns. And with a season under his belt, expect only to get better from there.
