An 11-year-old boy named Josiah has been spending some time with the Colorado football team recently, including being the center of attention at times during Thursday's practice.
Josiah, who is battling cancer, participated in a few drills as the Buffs warmed up and later made a touchdown run after which much of the team mobbed him in the endzone and lifted him on to their shoulders.
First-year coach Mike MacIntyre tweeted about the moment.
Our new teammate Josiah from the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation scoring a TD. What an awesome moment. http://t.co/mxGqIIKehh

Josiah was at the center of the post-practice huddle and is expected to make as many return trips to practices and games this fall as he wants to, MacIntyre said.
“It meant a lot to them and I think it meant a lot to him too for sure,” MacIntyre said. "…We’re honored and humbled to be able to try to help him have some magic moments.”
