Oregon State is looking to start a new in-game tradition this fall and well, it's definitely unique.
In this video from the Beavers cheerleading squad, fans at Reser Stadium are instructed to "Crank it Like a Chainsaw" between the third and fourth quarters. Yes, really.
This seems quite dangerous. Of course, (hopefully) no fans will have actual chainsaws in the stands, but if you've ever been to a sporting event at a packed stadium, you know there's not much space between yourself and your neighbors. The elbow to the face potential could be off the charts.
Speaking of real chainsaws, here's Oregon State coach Mike Riley with one. Don't operate power equipment indoors, Mike. And always wear ear and eye protection.
