Now that the drama surrounding Johnny Manziel and the allegations that he was paid for autographs is over (for now), people are really liking his chances at a Heisman repeat.

Per Bovada, a Las Vegas Sports Book, with the news that Manziel would only be suspended for the first half of Texas A&M's season opener against Rice and the issue not pursued any further, Manziel's odds for the Heisman have dropped from 12/1 to 7/1.

At 12-1, Manziel's odds had already improved from 15/1 10 days ago, when he was the ninth-best favorite for the Heisman. Now, at 7/1, he's the third favorite behind Braxton Miller and Jadeveon Clowney at Bovada.

However, according to Kevin Bradley, the Bovada Sports Book manager, bets still aren't being placed on Manziel as frantically as they were when he was the favorite earlier this summer at 9/2.

The one-half suspension has also affected Texas A&M's team odds. The Aggies win total over/under is at 9.5 and their odds of winning the SEC are at 7/2, tied with Georgia for second-best in the conference behind Alabama. A&M is also listed as the second-best favorite to win the West division behind the Crimson Tide, whom they play on September 14.
