Purdue quarterback Rob Henry took a blowout loss to Cincinnati hard today. He apologized to Purdue fans on Twitter after throwing two interceptions, fumbling once and losing 42-7.
Henry scored in the second quarter on a 7-yard touchdown run for the only points of the day for the Boilermakers.
I apologize to all my family, teammates, friends and fans. My performance today was unacceptable. Never played that bad in my life

Henry has played plenty of football as a starter and backup during his previous four years. He was the starter for part of the 2010 season and voted a co-captain before a season-ending injury in 2011. Given his experience, it's not over the top for him to call his first outing of 2013 'unacceptable.'
Staying off twitter for a while because there obviously needs to be a lot more work done and a lot less talking on my part. #BoilerUp — Rob Henry (@RobHenry15) August 31, 2013
The good news for Henry is the Boilermakers host Indiana State in Week 2. The Sycamores allowed 73 points in their season opener against Indiana this week.
