North Carolina coach Larry Fedora defended backup right tackle Kiaro Holts on Monday after many – mostly South Carolina fins – accused Holts of cheapshotting South Carolina star defensive end Jadeveon Clowney late in the game between the two teams last Thursday.
LF on Holts clip: "There was no malicious intent. He just made a poor choice. He was disciplined like all guys who get personal fouls."

Holts was blocking Clowney when Clowney broke away to chase after UNC quarterback Bryn Renner. Holts went to ground to clip Clowney, which caused the star defensive end’s knee to buckle as he fell over. Holts was assessed a 15-yard penalty and he also drew the ire of the college football world, who thought he was out to hurt Clowney on purpose.
So, you make the call. Was it fair or foul?
