We're reminded once again of how life isn't so difficult for Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron, even if he did go 10-for-23 for only 110 yards with a touchdown and interception in the season opener.
McCarron's lovely girlfriend and mother, Katherine Webb and Dee Dee Bonner, posed for the cover of Access magazine's September issue, which appears to be entirely football related.
Inside, the two women discuss 'name-calling, rumors and fame.' There is a whole section devoted to the wives of SEC coaches. Webb is even quoted on the cover.
"I just wish people knew my heart," she said. "I'm not self-obsessed."
It's OK Katherine. There is an entire nation of fanatical college football fans and those who appreciate beautiful ladies in football jerseys, or anything else for that matter, who are obsessed with you.
Remember, this is when that obsession started. We blame Brent Musburger.
