In addition to what was being billed as a record-breaking crowd at Sun Life Stadium for Miami's win against Florida, there might have been a record-breaking number of recruits and coaches in attendance as well.
According to the Miami Herald, 115 recruits and 350 high school football coaches were invited to the Hurricanes' 21-16 win over the Gators.
That number of both official and unofficial visits includes numerous 2014 commitments, as well as a host of 2015 prospects including Michael Irvin's nephew Tim Irvin. The former Dallas Cowboys receiver and NFL Hall of Famer played at Miami from 1985-87.
Class of 2014 member Isaiah McKenzie was there too, though he's down to his top three schools and Miami isn't included in that list. Per the Herald, McKenzie wanted an offer from the Canes "but it didn’t come so I really don’t care for it.”
Maybe after watching the win over the Gators, it'll arrive and he'll reconsider?
