Georgia’s season is saved.
That will probably be the sentiment from many Georgia fans that were stressing about the Bulldogs 2013 campaign after last week’s devastating 38-35 loss to Clemson.
In a must-win situation, Georgia came out victorious and outlasted South Carolina 41-30 to keep their national championship hopes alive.

But if the Bulldogs are going to make a run for the title, they’ll still need to shore up a defense that continues to give up big yardage to its opponents.
After allowing more than 500 yards to Clemson last week, South Carolina gashed the Bulldogs for 456 yards, including 227 yards on the ground.
Should Georgia fans be worried or is Aaron Murray talented enough – and have enough weapons – to outscore any team remaining on the schedule, even if the defense doesn’t show up?
Sure, why not?

Georgia hasn’t given anyone a reason to think that it can’t hang with any team in the country offensively and even if the defense takes three quarters off, the Georgia offense should have enough talent to squeak out a win. The Bulldogs running back tandem of Todd Gurley and Keith Marshall managed 46 carries and lost just five yards.
It might not be the ideal way to look at the Bulldogs' season, but if these first two games are any indication of Georgia’s style of play, it looks like the Bulldogs are going to rely on the offense, a lot like last year, to get back to the SEC title game.
