Earlier Saturday, Louisville and Florida International agreed to a running clock over their game's final minutes. Then Miami and Savannah State went out and one-upped them.

Yes, that's correct. The teams chopped three minutes off the final quarter, a different solution than the Cardinals and Panthers came up with. With three minutes to go in the third quarter of Louisville's 72-0 win over FIU, the teams agreed to let the clock run on normal stoppages in play for the final 18 minutes.
Entering the fourth in Miami, the Hurricanes led 77-7. The betting line before the game had Miami favored by 60 points, the third time Savannah State has been a 60 point or larger underdog since 2012.
Miami paid Savannah State $375,000 for the game, a significantly smaller sum than the $900,000 that Ohio State paid Florida A&M. In that game, Ohio State's Kenny Guiton set the school record for touchdown passes with six -- all in the first half -- and the Buckeyes won 76-0.
Miami was the fourth team that scored 70 or more on Saturday. In addition to Louisville and Ohio State, Baylor beat Louisiana-Monroe 70-7.
