Coming off a rough 28-21 loss to unranked Pitt, it came as surprising news Tuesday when Notre Dame (7-3) head coach Brian Kelly told reporters Tuesday that his team will not practice during the team’s bye week. They will stick to just conditioning and weight training.
For the first time in his career, Brian Kelly isn't having the team practice during the bye week. "We're in conditioning, weight training."

This is the first time Kelly has done this in his head coaching career.
His team is extremely banged up right now, so it’s clear Kelly wants to use this off week to help his players heal before closing out the season at home against BYU and on the road at Stanford.
