Kansas State head coach Bill Snyder showed why he is one of the most respected coaches in the country earlier this season when he sent a handwritten note to North Dakota State quarterback Brock Jensen after NDSU upset the Wildcats in the season opener.
Now, Snyder has done it again.
Snyder sent a note to Texas Tech tight end Jace Amaro, one of the country’s top tight ends, after Amaro took a big hit from Baylor’s Ahmad Dixon Saturday. In a 49-26 loss to K-State two weeks ago, Amaro caught nine passes for 67 yards.
Snyder lauds Amaro for his “innate toughness” and expresses concern for his injury. Amaro, in a tweet that includes the note, calls himself a big fan of Coach Snyder.
THE upmost respect to Kansas State and Coach Snyder, great program and an even greater coach. Huge fan. pic.twitter.com/fjeflBLU47
