We have no idea what's going on here.
It's Senior Day as Penn State hosts Nebraska, and amidst signs thanking the seniors and commemorating former coach Joe Paterno's 409 wins (before those wins were stripped amidst NCAA sanctions in the wake of the Jerry Sandusky scandal), there is a strange Paterno tribute.

It's just pants, socks and shoes, made to look as if Paterno was standing on the hill. But there's nothing else.
But mostly weird. RT @StateCollegeMom: Weird but cool. Half a Joepa at the statue site. pic.twitter.com/O62LGEozLg

Yes, Paterno's iconic look was black tennis shoes with white socks, and we get that's probably what the statue-builder was going for here. But was it that hard to make a full statue? Go for it all or go home. We're with Onward State, this is just weird.
