Ohio State’s marching band has really set the bar at an all-time high with some amazing half-time performances this year, and Saturday Notre Dame's band showed its stuff with a more football-themed performance.
The Notre Dame band re-enacted a forward pass from Gus Dorais to Knute Rockne, two Notre Dame players who are often credited with inventing the forward pass. In a November 1, 1913 game against a heavily-favored Army team, Dorais completed several passes to Rockne, a maneuver which was not widely used at that time.
It’s not quite summer at Cedar Point, but here was the halftime scene, as @NotreDameBand reenacted Dorais to Rockne. http://t.co/S7qAEa7KxL

The band’s representation of that moment in football history is awesome.
How does this compare to the Ohio State band who performed a Michael Jackson-style synchronized moonwalk, and in the following week, performed an awesome movie-themed routine that featured Superman, Harry Potter, and a T-Rex stomping across the field?
If you ask me, I still give Ohio State a slight edge.
