Georgia's Aaron Murray, the SEC’s all-time leader in passing yards and touchdown passes, was knocked out of Saturday night’s game with Kentucky with a knee injury, and he won’t return. The injury took place on a 28-yard run in the second quarter.

Murray, on crutches, left the stadium during half time, so the injury appears to be serious.

Murray was having a big game before the injury, tossing four touchdown passes and 183 yards on 18-of-23 pass attempts. Backup Hutson Mason replaced Murray and promptly threw a 24-yard touchdown of his own to Todd Gurley to put the Bulldogs up 35-10.

Murray has started 52 consecutive games for the Bulldogs, but his status for the season finale with Georgia Tech next Saturday is now seriously in question.
