The buttfumble is not the exclusive domain of the New York Jets.
Just more than a year after Mark Sanchez fumbled after running into the rear end of one of his offensive linemen and created 2012's blooper of the year, TCU running back B.J. Catalon ran into the back of one of his offensive linemen and lost the football as well.
It wasn't as comical as Sanchez's play -- remember, Sanchez was sliding to the ground -- but it was still pretty cringeworthy.
Baylor recovered at the TCU one-yard-line and scored on the next play. The Bears won the game 41-38, so it's not a stretch to say that the fumble might have been the most pivotal play of the game as it put Baylor up 20-17.
The touchdown meant that Baylor essentially got an extra possession, and two possessions later, Baylor returned a Casey Pachall interception for a touchdown and a 27-17 lead.
