Instead, watch the blockers. On this punt return Saturday against Hampden-Sydney in the DIII playoffs, Linfield College landed three decleater blocks. Yes. Three. Unfortunately for Linfield, the returner would have needed a fourth or fifth to get to the end zone. The hits were all clean too -- the defenders were hit squarely in the chest.
Linfield won the game 31-21 to advance to the next round.
