Stanford got out to a big lead over Arizona State in the Pac-12 title game, but the Sun Devils were looking to close the deficit to just ten points late in the third quarter. That was until Stanford’s Shayne Skov made an incredible play to keep ASU out of the end zone.

Arizona State trailed 31-14, but quarterback Taylor Kelly led the offense down inside the 10-yard line. Two plays later, the Sun Devils faced a third and goal from the one-yard line when Skov perfectly timed the ASU snap count and leaped over the line of scrimmage to keep Arizona State out of the end zone.

On fourth down Arizona State was again stuffed by the Cardinal on a De’Marieya Nelson rushing attempt.

Stanford’s offense quickly built off the defense’s impressive stand, driving 99 yards for the score that officially put the game out of reach, 38-14.
