After his team's national title chances slipped away in a 34-24 loss to Michigan State, Urban Meyer consoled himself with some pizza.

Yes, that looks to be a Papa John's box. Peyton Manning would be proud.

But that's quite a turn of possible events. Many expected that Ohio State would have won its 25th consecutive game Saturday night and that Meyer and the Buckeyes would be hoisting roses to signify a trip to Pasadena along with the Big Ten Conference trophy.

Instead, it was Michigan State that was doing those things. And Meyer was left with pizza in the bowels of Lucas Oil Stadium.
