Alabama kicker Cade Foster has gotten a lot of support after his game against Auburn, including from a former president.
President George W. Bush sent Foster a handwritten note of support.
Dear Cade (#43), life has it's setbacks. I know! However, you will be stronger with time..Sincerely- George Bush pic.twitter.com/jesykfKpDx

Bush, a former owner of the Texas Rangers, is a big sports fan and we like the touch of from one 43 to another. (Bush was the 43rd president.) And it's another sign of the explosion of college football and the significance of that Iron Bowl. It's not like everyone gets a personal note from a former president.
Foster was 0-3 on field goal attempts in the game, including two misses to the left and one blocked kick in Alabama's 34-28 loss to Auburn after Chris Davis returned Adam Griffith's missed field goal for a touchdown.
