Patricia Carroll, the attorney for the woman who accused Florida State’s Jameis Winston of sexual assault, held a press conference in a park in Zephyrhills, Fla. Friday morning.
While getting into specifics about her gripes with the Tallahassee Police Department’s handling of the case and calling for an independent investigation, Carroll was interrupted while speaking, but it wasn’t an interruption you would expect during a serious press conference like this.
Instead, someone shouted “Go Gators!” Carroll was thrown off for a second, clearly displeased, before responding, “please refrain.”
