Against San Jose State, Navy's Keenan Reynolds broke the record for rushing touchdowns by a quarterback in a single game. Now he has the season record too.

Reynolds ran for three touchdowns in Navy's 34-7 romp over Army in the snow to bring his total to 29 on the season. That eclipsed the record of 27 that was set by Navy's Ricky Dobbs in 2009 and tied last season by Kansas State's Collin Klein.

On Nov. 22, Reynolds ran for seven touchdowns against San Jose State in Navy's 58-52 triple overtime win. Saturday, he scampered in from 47 and 11 yards, and even caught a two-point conversion pass after the second touchdown.

That pass was one of the few that worked throughout the game. Both service academies run a variation of the option offense and the game featured the fewest total passing yards of any game all season.

The previous low-mark was 122 yards in Georgia Southern's win over Florida. But Georgia Southern didn't complete a pass that game. Saturday's game had 60 passing yards. Reynolds was 2-8 passing for 10 yards and Army's Angel Santiago was 5-10 for 50 yards.

While Army might have outpassed Navy, the Black Knights could not stop or keep up with the Midshipmen on the ground. Army ran for just 157 yards while Navy tallied over 300 on the ground. And Army committed three turnovers. Navy didn't commit any, and so the winning streak continues. Navy has now beaten Army 12 straight times, the longest winning streak by either team in the storied series.
