Neutral site games can really be hit or miss. It all depends on the location. A football game at Fenway Park? That would fall under the “hit” category for sure.
The Boston Globe is reporting that the Fenway Sports Group is “in serious negotiations” with Boston College and Notre Dame to play a future “Holy War” game at Fenway Park in Beantown.
Fenway Park, the famous home of the Red Sox, has held concerts, hockey games and Patriots games over the years, but has never hosted a major college football game.
The Eagles and Fighting Irish are next scheduled to play each other in 2015 and Notre Dame will reportedly release its upcoming 2014, 2015 and 2016 schedules later Friday morning.
