It wouldn’t be national signing day without some announcement ceremony drama.
Four-star WR Isaiah McKenzie had narrowed his list down to Virginia Tech, Florida and Ole Miss.

When he was set to make his college decision at American Heritage School (Fla.) Wednesday morning, he had two hats – Virginia Tech and Ole Miss – on the table to choose from. McKenzie then surprised everyone when high school teammate and five-star running back Sony Michel – a Georgia signee – handed his friend a Bulldogs hat. McKenzie then announced that he would follow his friend to Georgia.
According to Rivals, Georgia did not offer McKenzie a scholarship until Monday, but McKenzie, the No. 35 rated wide receiver in the nation, jumped at the chance to play with Michel. The 5-foot-8, 165-pound speedster is the 19th commit in Georgia's 2014 class -- a class that was ranked No. 11 overall in the nation by Rivals headed into signing day.
McKenzie, who is also considered to be a dynamic kick returner, also had offers from schools like Michigan, Oregon, Tennessee, West Virginia, Notre Dame and Wisconsin, among others.
