South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier must be beaming. Not only because he got the commitment of Rivals four-star DE Dante Sawyer, but because Sawyer has obviously been paying attention to Spurrier's trash talk.
Wearing a South Carolina hat after officially signing with the school, Sawyer threw up five fingers when posing for pictures with Korie Rogers, who was sporting a Clemson hat. Rogers is a four-star recruit who committed to Clemson.

The five represents the five-straight seasons that South Carolina has beaten Clemson. It's a point that Spurrier likes to emphasize whenever possible and one that he likely used to sell Sawyer on the Gamecocks.
Sawyer is the No. 7 DE in the country and No. 7 recruit in the state of South Carolina. Rogers is the No. 5 linebacker in the country and No. 5 recruit in the state. If we're going to get into recruiting rankings trolling, however, Clemson coach Dabo Swinney has the advantage over Spurrier. Clemson's 2014 class is No. 12 in the country according to Rivals while South Carolina's is ranked No. 24. Though it doesn't matter too much if Clemson can't break the streak.
