Welcome to Dr. Saturday's College Football Madness. Ever wondered how the 2013 college football season could have turned out with a 68-team playoff? You've come to the right spot. While 68 teams participate in the NCAA tournament, we're running an expanded college football playoff. And you're in charge. Each matchup is open to a vote and the team with the most votes in each game moves on to the next round. Time for our last region, Region 4.
Is a Rose Bowl rematch on the horizon? Let's see. Voting for Region 4 ends at 2 p.m. ET on Monday, March 24. Vote for Region 1 here. Click here for Region 2.For Region 3, click here. And Click here for the bracket.
No. 1 Michigan State vs. No. 16 North Dakota State
The Bison beat Kansas State in week one, and basketball beat Oklahoma Thursday night. Is a third upset on the horizon?
No. 8 Kansas State vs. No. 9 Ole Miss
Speaking of Kansas State, this would be a fascinating matchup in real life. Come on Bill Snyder, schedule an SEC team!
No. 5 Fresno State vs. No. 12 Mississippi State
Is this the 12-over-5 upset that everyone will vote for?
No. 4 Arizona State vs. No. 13 Minnesota
This is a very maroon and gold game. That's probably where the similarities between the two teams ends.
No. 6 Texas A&M vs. No. 11 Virginia Tech
Another maroon-clad game. We're not confident in Va. Tech's offense being able to take advantage of Texas A&M's porous defense.
No. 3 Oklahoma vs. No. 14 Georgia Tech
Will we have a rematch of the 2013 Cotton Bowl in the second round?
No. 7 Vanderbilt vs. No. 10 Iowa
Kirk Ferentz would fit in the SEC 10 years ago. Now, not so much.
No. 2 Stanford vs. No. 15 Buffalo
Khalil Mack vs. Stanford's offensive line? Yes please.
